Wow, that’s all I can say about this wedding, it had everything, from an ice sculpture, to a classic car, to a beautiful church, it seemed like this wedding was straight out of a magazine. One thing that you can always expect when you go to an event involving the Gales is that it’s going to be an event you won’t forget. The wedding took place in downtown Lansing, with a view right at the Capital building, and the reception took place at the Kellogg Center at Michigan State University.

I wasn’t the photographer for this wedding, but I wanted to be able to take some photos and give them to the bride and groom as part of our gift (I’ve tried to do this with all family weddings I’ve been at). I grew up with the groom, and some of my favorite memories were our explorations at my Uncles house during the O’Brien Christmas. I had never seen him so happy, he was smiling ear to ear and his eyes lit up whenever he saw his bride (as you can see in all of the photos).

One of my favorite pictures is of the car outside of the church as the guests waited to greet the newlyweds. Take a look at the sample shots above and let me know which one is your favorite! This was definitely a wedding I will not be forgetting.
