Had a change of pace and tried something new for this photo shoot. Met with K, C, and their mom in Old Town Lansing for a great session. We originally were going to shoot at an abandoned railroad track but after walking a few blocks didn’t see a location and decided to try something else. These photos were taken down by the riverwalk and near the fish ladder. The masonry on the old buildings provided a great backdrop and made for great photos. K wasn’t feeling that great but we were able to get a couple great smiles out of her, and this was one of the best shoots I’ve had with C.

It’s great being able to take recurring photos with clients children, it’s great to see how fast they grow, how their personality changes, and how they react to being photographed.

I hope you enjoy the photos! I’ll have some other family shoots uploaded later this week.
