| I don’t know about you, but I’ve always loved going to a friends wedding. As a photographer, I always feel like I can use my skills to take photos that I can then give as part of a gift to them. This wedding in particular I’m glad I brought my camera, when I got to the wedding I had noticed that the hired photographer was on a scooter because they had hurt their leg prior to the big day. Although I wasn’t the photographer for this wedding, I asked the groom if it would be OK if I walked around and took photos of the wedding / reception and he said it was fine. I tried to stay out of the way for the paid photographer because that’s what he was getting paid to do, but I was able to get some great shots of the bride and groom during and after the ceremony. The wedding ceremony was held outside, and even though it started to drizzle during the beginning, in the end the rain held off and no one got soaked.
