I was incredibly excited to be able to work with Tommy this year as most of my senior shoots have been with young women. I was excited to be able to try out my poses on a young man! Tommy’s session started out at Michigan State’s campus like so many of my sessions do. We worked our way from the horticultural gardens, to the broad museum, up to Grand River.
Our second stop was the historical village in Okemos, but unfortunately we had to cut it short due to all of the mosquitoes that were there. It was approaching dusk and they were so bad they were casting shadows from the flash on Tommy’s face, not to mention no amount of off could prevent them from buzzing around our heads.
We agreed that we would meet back up the next morning for a session and these turned out excellent. We started off at Lake Lansing for some photos on the water and on the beach, then moved back to the historical village for some excellent photos.
Some of my favorite shots from the session came that second day. I was thrilled with how everything turned out and I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed taking them!
