I can’t believe it’s already been two years since I took my sister’s maternity photos at the Harris Nature Center. It was a beautiful November day, we still had some color on the trees and the weather cooperated. We started the session at 5:00 PM walking the trails at Harris. Olivia did a great job for being 7 months pregnant and we got some great photos off of the trails near the Red Cedar River.
After we finished shooting at the Harris Nature Center we moved on to the historical village in Okemos for a silhouette photo. We wanted to get an outline of Olivia and Adam while the sun was setting the coloring and contrast was great for a portrait, with my flash I was able to illuminate the front while still keeping the color from washing out in the background.
I love being able to participate in these memorable moments with different families, this was extra special because in just two months I would have a second nephew!
