I love being able to help friends out with family portraits and that’s exactly what happened for the Oertel Family Photo session. The Oertel’s have been our neighbor for the last four years. With all of our kids similar in age, there have been lots of bike rides, pool parties, and games that have taken place over the last few years.
This last fall they asked if I would be willing to take photos for their family and I jumped at the chance. It was an early foggy fall morning, but that added to the atmosphere. All three kids were beaming as they smiled into the camera. It was a great session. (It’s also a great feeling to see the photos you take come in on Christmas cards!)
